Upgrading from MP 2.1.3.217 to 2.1.4.389 does not recognize hotfixes rolled into CU3 for SCOM 2007 R2

When Upgrading MP, the upgrade process reports that hotfix KB981740 was not detected yet this hotfix was rolled into CU3 which WAS installed.

 

 

To resolve, we simply downloaded hotfix KB891740 and then reran the upgrade for the F5 MP.

 

 

The upgrade ran successfully on both Management Servers in our Management Group.
