DNS HM Probe issue

We have LTM and DNS on a standalone box.

the network is configured with multiple route domain

we also have DNS configured with pool having HM . How to force DNS to use one of the Self ip which is associated with a route domain.

When i try to configure the server under GSLB is doesnt support route-domain and i believe it takes route-domain 0 . hence probing is failing.

Yes they are on same hardware. Hence have multiple route-domain.

I followed the article but it still the same .the server shows as RED diamond

  • The DNS HM (Health Monitoring) Probe issue typically refers to problems encountered when health monitoring systems use DNS probes to check the availability or performance of DNS services. These issues can manifest in several ways depending on the configuration of the monitoring system and the behavior of the DNS servers being probed.

The DNS is configured with a pool and we are performing HM of the pool member under the GSLB TAB.

Now as i understand in order to begin probing , we need to configure the source IP that will be used for probing .

This is done by creating a server under GSLB and while configuring the server under devices i need to add the self IP without route domain.

now since i have multiple route domain how can i make this working.

  • To force your DNS (configured on a standalone box with LTM and DNS) to use a specific self IP associated with a particular route domain, while ensuring compatibility with GSLB (Global Server Load Balancing), follow these steps

    Configuration Steps

    Configure the GSLB Pool
