What Hypervisors have you tried LTM VE in?
While VMware Workstation 7, ESX and ESXi 4 are supported, many of the other Hypervisors on the market are not. This does not mean that the LTM VE will not run in them. Folks have had great success with Fusion 2 and 3 as well as Virtual Box 3.
What other hypervisors have you tried LTM VE in, and what issues did you find if any?

I'm using VirtualBox with no issues. Works great. Using it as my iRules/iControls development environment. - Hamish

VMWare Server 2.0.2, Linux Fedora 11 - Not very stable... But that may be the VMWare Server itself, as I lose the VMWare m,anagement at the same time.
VMWare Fusion 3 - MacOS 10.6.2 - With a trial license of VMWare Fusion. Works like a charm. I may have to buy a copy when I get my MB back from Apple... (Broken ethernet port... sob...)
Parallels Desktop 4 - MacOS 10.6.2 - Didn't work. The translation from VMWare to Parallels seemed to work fine. But the boot halted part way through. I never debugged it as I switched to Fusion. I may go back & investigate properly at some stage, but Parallels won't install the updates for me anyway, so I may bin it. - Nyt_Crawler_109

What version are you using / what host?
I'm getting kernel panics when I boot under virtualbox sitting on a windows box (3.1.4 / Windows 2003 server, for what its worth)
I've got it running nicely under VMWare workstation 7 - Stan_Chan_87542

Should work fine when converted over to OVF format. Use VMware converter and/or ovftool. Xen ports work fine as well. Below is my ovf file for my Windows XP/VirtBox 3.1.4 image. I have it running on a Windows 7 64-bit box as well. Parallels Desktop 4 (Does Not Work!)
The reason parallels desktop doesn't work is the ethernet interface. VMWare provides pcnet32 (Management) and 82545 (Intel Gb) interface
emulation. While Parallels provides a Realtek (RTL-8029) interface. While not normally a problem with most OS's, the vLTM is of course customised,
and doesn't include the RTL network module (8390.ko IIRC).
If I get time some day, I may try creating or finding an existing module suitable for the kernel that F5 use. (Yes, buying VMWare Fusion would
probably be easier, but I've never gone the easy route yet, why start now...
I don't know what Parallels 5 provides...
H - Ilya_Nesterov_6Historic F5 AccountSuccessfully run it on VIrtualbox 3.1.6 (Archlinux x86 and x86-64 hosts).
Faced with kernel panic, but it was resolved with enabling PAE/NX support. - DeVon_Jarvis

I am using VE on VMWare Fusion (OS X 10.6.3) without any issues.
