What Hypervisors have you tried LTM VE in?

Should work fine when converted over to OVF format. Use VMware converter and/or ovftool. Xen ports work fine as well. Below is my ovf file for my Windows XP/VirtBox 3.1.4 image. I have it running on a Windows 7 64-bit box as well. YMMV...
