Removing Hardware failover cable when Network failover is configured

Question

Just trying to make sure when the Network failover is configured correctly i.e if we see OK for

Show cm failover-status atleast for one Network(Ex:Dedicated directly connected network link or Management redundancy). We should be able to remove the cable from the failover ports. Is this correct?

I see on my failover hardware ports for F5s "cable state 0" when I run show sys failover cable

Hello,As I understand it, you need to remove the failover cable without triggering any failover. I recommend turning the standby unit to offline before taking this action.Best regards,

Actually, I was able to test it and failover event was not triggered. Did not have to put the device in offline state. Thank you for your response
