CirrostratusRemoving Hardware failover cable when Network failover is configured
Just trying to make sure when the Network failover is configured correctly i.e if we see OK for
Show cm failover-status atleast for one Network(Ex:Dedicated directly connected network link or Management redundancy). We should be able to remove the cable from the failover ports. Is this correct?
I see on my failover hardware ports for F5s "cable state 0" when I run show sys failover cable

Hello,
As I understand it, you need to remove the failover cable without triggering any failover. I recommend turning the standby unit to offline before taking this action.

InquisitiveMaiActually, I was able to test it and failover event was not triggered. Did not have to put the device in offline state. Thank you for your response
