you can download a 10.1 BIG-IP trial, otherwise you can reach out to your SE and they can likely get you a trial key for a newer version.

Personally, I'd recommend against using the LTM VE trial from 10.1 as it's an ancient version that only supported LTM and had intentional handicaps. Instead do as Jason suggested and contact your local F5 or partner SE (www.f5.com/howtobuy) and request an eval key for BIG-IP VE. An eval key for BIG-IP VE will allow you to test all the modules on any recent software release.
