iRule SNAT vs. SNAT object

Hi,

 

 

If I had iRule SNATs, do I even need SNAT objects anymore? Which takes precedence? If a virtual server had an iRule SNAT, would that take precedence over any SNAT object?

    I believe the iRule takes precedence over the setting on the Virtual server, but I'd have to test it to be sure as I haven't tried this in a while.

     

     

    Is there a scenario where you'd want both set, and have one overriding the other?
