Learning alongside all of you in this accelerating industry toward modern apps and architectures.isn't authentication required on those servers i.e. the one you have to put username and password?
as i know, without receive string, health monitor will always mark pool member up if there is response. any response except tcp reset will work e.g. http status 2xx, 3xx, 4xx, etc.

Thanks Aaron for the reply. This is great info. I'll try and test in out in out sandbox and post the results. It'll be tricky handling the redirect for the SSL VIPs as all the SSL termination is done at the server. I believe users will be stuck with SSL warnings to click thru.
