Can you access the LTM using SSH or from the console? If so, try running 'bigstart restart httpd' or 'bigstart restart tomcat4'. You can check the GUI logs under /var/log/httpd/ for additional debug. - dele_21643

I have the same problem. If I access via https I get the message "Restarting the Configuration Utility ..." and via ssh "Re-starting Tomcat4. I reboot the F5 (httpd and Tomcat4 services have also been restarted) and the problem continues. Any suggestions? Thank you. - hoolio

Hi all, any news with this error?I'm receiving the same issue actually, and here is a sample of the log output from /var/log/httpd/httpd_errors:

The page shows "Configuration utility is restarting".
I've tried to restart both tomcat and httpd, it seems that it works for a while and then it becomes buggy.
This error occurs only on the active F5. (I've increased the number of allowed simultaneous connections, but nothing :( ).
Any ideas, please?
Thanks

Hi,
I am also facing the same issue. My web GUI was unable to access after upgrade from 11.1.0 HF4 to 11.51 HF7. I am logging in my console via ssh therefore it should not be network issue.
Below are my logs.

Hi guys, The solution that worked for me is to restart the tomcat service instead of httpd. Seems like tomcat is the one buggy. BR//

Hi Hamdi, I had tried restarting both tomcat and httpd service but still unable to get it running. However, the configuration utility works when i rollback to other volumes partition.

was httpd up when restarting or was it down?
if it was down, do you know whether syslog-ng was running? was syslog-ng configuration customized?

have you generated qkview when the problem was happening? if yes, you may open a support case and see if they can find something. - Findus

Did you solve the issue? I am facing the same problem after upgrade to 11.5.2 HF1. Cheers, Peter
