Can you access bash with a admin account in F5OS shell?
Does anyone know if there is a way to access bash from a non-root account that has administrator privileges? For example, in Big-IP, if you had admin permissions and were in tmsh, you could use the "run /util bash" command to enter bash. Is there an equivalent if you are in the F5OS shell?
Note:
- I have appliance mode off, as I know that would have interfered
- I can get to bash with root. I'm just wanting a quick way to transfer to bash like the tmsh days, without having to log out and log back in as root.
Hi Algebraic_Mirror, I don't think this is possible today. You can try to establish an RFE with your account team. If that gets created, post back here with the details and others can attach a case to that RFE to help build awareness.
