BIG-IP self-certificate browser warning

Nice to meet you. I'm tokita.

I would like to ask about applying self-certificate to big-ip and browser warning.

I don't want the client terminal to display a browser warning when accessing the server web screen on the big-ip backend.

Normally, I think that it is possible to eliminate the browser warning by installing the self-signed certificate from the browser of the client PC or installing the self-signed certificate in the certificate store.

Is it possible to eliminate the browser warning as well by importing the self-signed certificate into big-ip and applying it to Vertual Server instead of the client side PC correspondence?

I look forward to working with you.

  • Yes, it is possible. Import the right certificate/key and the certificate root too.

Then create a client SSL profile and apply it to your virtual server.

Thank you very much for telling me how to implement it.
