Resetting to Factory Default
I recently followed the the procedure in K44595522 to wipe of pair of i2800. I started with the standby device which went just as expected. When I ran the same steps on the active device, it scrolled lines across the screen anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. And when it finally stopped the device was not completely wiped like the standby device. Anyone else have this same experience? Thanks in advance.

Did you encounter any particular error?
I haven't tested this procedure myself;
I would have first reset both devices using the following procedure :
and then used the KB:

Thanks for your suggestion. Sorry it's taken a while to reply. I just ran thru these procedures and got the same results that I got the previous times where the first device went very smoothly and only took may 10 minutes. The second device took 20-30 minutes.
I was able to get a couple of screen captures. The first capture shows quite a few of lines that start with info: copying package... and the next line starting with debug: copied... All of these lines show filenames ending in .rpm.
In my other capture, the lines show info: RPM: followed by different messages. A quick search tells me RPM is the Red Hat Package Manager.
I did check and it appears that everything has been wiped on the second device just like the first. Just trying to understand why devices in a pair act differently.
