big ip ltm factory reset
folks
i have a pair of ltms which i've lost the passwords for (they were setup by a consultant) so i don't have admin access or gui
i can access the console ok but can't get logged on
is there a hardware reset?
or will i have to log a call with f5 for a workaround?
thanks folks
Hi,
If you've got console access, you can connect the console cable, reboot, log on to single user mode [1], change root password, reboot again and then you've got ssh access. Once that's done, you can log on as root, go to "tmsh" and modify the admin password [2] and then you've restored GUI access as well.

Hope this helps!
