Wildcard pool member, listening on all services

Hi guys,

 

I came across the option of using "All services" in port definition when creating a pool member. I am wondering if any of you used this option and can help me understand what would be a valid use case for it.

    Hi

     

    I use this sometimes when a service is listening on multiple ports, say UDP/2000-2100. Rather than create 100 separate VIPs i create a single one and then limit the open ports on the VIP with an iRule.
