What is the concept of management View and ViewZone?

I am trying to learn the programming with iControl management APIs. As a newbie, I can understand the concept of DNS Zone and Record. But I am confused by the concept/object View and ViewZone. What do they stand for? What is the relationship between DNS zone and records? And what is the use case for these concept? I tried to search the forum and also googled, but I failed to figure out the answers.

 

 

Could any one shed some lights on these? Or any document/guide of the programming model?
