AltostratusVCMP guest upgrade (HA pair)
Hi All,
Currently the VCMP guest is running on 14.1.0 and wanted to upgrade 14.2.1.
Do I need to copy the base.conf file to new partition manually ? or After after reboot the the newly created partion with new image automatically will load the base config and other stuffs from old partition where the 14.1.0 IOS is sitting currently
An upgrade will migrate the config automatically (unless you take specific steps to prevent config migration).

One of the steps of installing a SW to an inactive boot partition includes LB automatically creates a UCS archive of a currently working configuration and transfer it to the partition.
Once you boot into the new partition the configuration will be there for you.
