TMOS Upgrade from 10.2.4 to 11.4.1
Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade LTM 3400 from 10.2.4 to 11.4.10 using tmsh, but it fails:
[root@f5-2:Standby] images tmsh root@f5-2(Standby)(tmos) show sys software status
Sys::Software Status Volume Product Version Build Active Status
CF1.1 none none none no complete HD1.1 none none none no complete HD1.2 BIG-IP 10.2.4 577.0 yes complete
root@f5-2(Standby)(tmos) install sys software image BIGIP-11.4.1.608.0.iso volume HD1.1 root@f5-2(Standby)(tmos) show sys software status
Sys::Software Status
Volume Product Version Build Active Status
CF1.1 none none none no complete HD1.1 none 11.4.1 608.0 no failed (Can't find requested disk HD1.) HD1.2 BIG-IP 10.2.4 577.0 yes complete
I tried to delete HD1.1 with delete sys software volume HD1.1 but it doesn't work (err lind 2557 Failed to delete volume).
I tried to upgrade tmos/delete volume with webUi but it failed.
I'm stuck with this and I would appreciate if someone could help me.
Hi Zara,
Version 11 is not supported on BIG-IP 3400 platforms. 10.2.4 is the highest you can go.

Thank you Salim, I haven't thought about the obsolescence of the 3400. - Zara_117183
