STP issue with Nexus 5548
Assuming that you haven't configured the priority on the root switch for VLAN 201, you can try this (in config mode):
- non-root switch: spanning-tree vlan 201 priority 40960
- Nexus switch: spanning-tree vlan 201 priority 36864
Unfortunately i have tried (RSTP, MSTP, STP etc) everything and no luck, Problem is Cisco switches running on Rapid-PVSTP+ and F5 doesn't understand this protocol.
In transparent mode 2G link turn into ACTIVE instead of 10G but when i try to shutdown 2G link 10G goes into loop-guard and switch never bring that port up.
In Lab i configure MSTP on cisco switch and MSTP on F5 in that case everything was working great.
Bottom line is F5 never work with PVSTP spanning-tree, if anyone did or hack something please let me know i really want that solution.
