snmpd.log file size issue
We have had disk space problems with /var/log and discovered the snmpd.log file to be over 2 gig.
I'm trying to determine what this file is used for and how to control it.
It is tied to the snmpd process. The documentation however states that this daemon sends log information to /var/log/daemon.log and /var/log/ltm
The information in the file appears to be related to snmp queries for statistics embedded with the message "send response: Too long". So is this simply a file for errors to the snmpd daemon?
How is this log file controlled? Is there a config file to limit the something like a log "level"?

We have the same problem. Anyone have a solution for this?

Not in the last 5 years ... unfortunately.
