Rate Limit per vlan

Hello All 

I need you asssitance here. we launch a new service over our Bigip I7800 for Metro Customers 

 Each customer has its own vlan , and VAS(NAT, DNS and more)

the issue here that i am looking  is to limit the customer bandwidth per vlan.

i have tried the rate limit feature , but its limited on a shred Virtual servers 

if i want use this feature i have to create for each cutomer a rate limit profile 

we are talking on thousnads of cusotmers 

 

My question  : 

Can i write one irule that can assigned to a customers vlan accroding to the category below ?

100 Mb

500Mb 

1000Mb

    I don't think that's possible. However, you might be able to segment your customers by route domains and apply a bandwidth controller at that level, as all traffic within the route domain would then be subject to that bandwidth limitation (including monitors and dns queries, fyi.)
