OSPF daemon

We are using OSPF to advertise IP routes from 2 separate Data Centers. Recently we found the OSPF daemon on one of the LTMs had stopped functioning. We would like to be aware of this if it happens again. Is there some way to monitor the OSPF daemon to see if it is still up and running for example via SNMP? or some other means?
