"Mozilla to boot all plugins from Firefox … except Flash: NPAPI plugins get death date of Christmas 2016"
See: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/10/09/mozilla_to_boot_all_plugins_from_firefox_except_flash/ .
How exactly is F5 going to be affected?
There has been an F5 article about its use of NSAPI I recall, but it's not been very clear to me what we should do, though.

here some information: sol15326: Browser plugin support for BIG-IP APM features
That means F5 APM team will have some work to do to bring out an Edge client which is fully standalone and support for VPN-SSL without it won't be possible (if MS goes the same with plugin/activ-x demotion) or limited.
Hopefully they start from scratch (actually, it's mostly legacy software from the Firepass era) and include (again, as it was with Firepass), the AppTunnel support in Edge client.
