IE displays crowded webtop icons
Using the following environment: Latest LTM OS - 12.0.0.1.0.628 (also occurs on 12.0.0), APM, Internet Explorer 10 & 11
Problem: Internet Explorer 10 & 11 will display the Webtop icons in a crowded matter. Refreshing the page or clearing out temp internet files, cookies, cached pages, etc will not fix it. Firefox (currently using 44.0.2) and Chrome (currently using 48.0) has no problem. If i remove the sections created, i still see the problem. See images below.
I know the easy fix is "Just use Firefox or chrome" but the company i work for has specified IE (ver 10 & 11) as the browser to use. So i need to find a fix. I'm using the LTM OS ver. 12 OS on the F5 appliance because I wanted to take advantage of the Webtop sections functionality.
On occasion, IE will display the webtop properly, but if i were to refesh the page (F5 or CTRL+F5), it goes back to being crowded. Wondering if there is a way in the advanced customization of the webtop page I can make to fix the issue.
Before I submit a ticket with F5, I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone has experienced this issue.
Thanks in Advance
This is probably bug ID 557411. It's caused by some issue in the webtop layout with IE's Compatibility Mode in APM v12.x.
Please open a support ticket and reference this bug ID to request a workaround/fix.
