how to setup subdomain?
Currently, we manage internet dns query for our company domain (@company.com) with various type of record (MX, A, etc). Recently, we want to setup subdomain (@asia.company.com; @eurpore.company.com; @us.company.com, etc) with their own record (MX, A, etc).
We try to setup using zonerunner and create subdomain asia / us / europe with zone type (stub or slave). But in both case, we cannot create resources record. System return an error (0115040a:3: Zone not authoritative during update.).
Please advice a way to create a sub domain.
Thanks

Hi,
You can add them into the current zone file for company.com
us IN A (IP address for us.company.com)
us IN MX (mail-server FQDN for mail to us.company.com)
europe IN A (IP address europe.company.com
europe IN MX (mail-server FQDN for mail to europe.company.com)
asia IN A (IP address for asia.company.com)
asia IN MX (mail-server FQDN for mail to asia.company.com)
If you want to create new zone files for each subdomain and your GTM is the master for the subdomain, create it as a master.
Don't forget to create the NS records in the parent zone as well as that will be queried during the resolution.

What to do if BigIP is managing Master domain and enable DNSSEC what to do for Subdomain so that they will also be secure
