How do we copy and paste the evaluation key for BIG IP VE into the virtual machine?

Are you trying to paste the license key in through CLI or GUI?

Flavin,I have never had success in using Hyper-V's Virtual Machine Connection window to paste text directly into the BIG-IP command line.

For this reason, the first thing I do after initial bootup of the BIG-IP VE is run 'config' to give the VE management interface an IP (either through DHCP or manual) and then connect to that IP via HTTPS and run through the licensing using the web interface.

Thank you all for your quick responses. I was trying through the CLI. Once I got the web interface working, I was able to activate the license that way. I am good to go now thanks to your help. Thank you again everyone. Kind regards, Carol Flavin
