GTM->servers address list

When creating servers in GTM->servers what is the use of address list field it says to use non-floating self ip address what if i use any other address in that field.

    Hi Chaithy, that is the IP address GTM will use to communicate to the BIG-IP devices. Server is a confusing term here to use, it means BIG-IP system or other device providing load balancing services, although it can be a server too. it needs to be a non-floating self-ip which allows 22 and 4353 for iquery communication. Make sure those ports are enabled on the self-ip's port lockdown settings.
