GTM DNS Resolution

Hi,

 

having twin DCs (active/active) with 1 GTM and 2 LTM in each Data Center, with synchronous storage replication using VPLEX Metro through dark fiber, having only 1 ESX cluster in total (counting 2 DCs), using vLbock 320 and wanting to do vMotion and have the load balancers to be aware of the vMotion in order to avoid as much as we can to have traffic crossing the Data Center interconnect link. My question is:

 

GTM DNS will resolve to which IP address? - LTM VIP address? - vCener IP address? - or another device IP address?

    GTMs should ultimately be resolving domains to some virtual server on your LTM. The health checking and load balancing type that you use on GTM will determine which LTM is ultimately selected, and which pool members behind the LTM will be used for load balancing will be determined by the LTM's health checking and load balancing type.
