NimbostratusF5 upgrade is failing from 11v to 13v
Hi All, I am trying to upgrade device from 11.6.2 - Hotfix HF1 to 13.1.0.8. But it is getting failed. But getting below error.
profile /Common/Test_uat_ssl_profile requires a key Loading configuration process failed. "/usr/bin/tmsh -n -g load sys config partitions all " - failed. -- Loading schema version: 11.6.2 Loading schema version: 13.1.0.8 01070315:3: profile /Common/Test_uat_ssl_profile requires a key Unexpected Error: Loading configuration process failed. Full configuration load failed.
As per article https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K16098 I checked profile /Common/Test_uat_ssl_profile in F5 to update key there, But the Profile Test_uat_ssl_profile is not found in bigip.conf.
I dont understand then via device is giving above error while upgrading as this profile is not in F5 bigip.conf please help me asap.

jurgenvdmark_14you can check the bigip_base.conf if you find any reference to this file. It also might be a file in the filestore (/config/files_d/Common_d/datasync_update_file_d)
I would suggest to perform a grep -r 'Test_uat_ssl_profile' in the /config directory to see what it references to

Hey Mark, Thanks for your reply. I dont found any reference in bigip_base.conf for profile, also there is no datasync_update_file_d in /config/files_d/Common_d/ directory. We also tried command grep -r 'Test_uat_ssl_profile', no result found for this search.

Can you please do below steps:
- Take UCS backup
- Do a mcpd reload touch /service/mcpd/forceload --If device is not VCMP clsh touch /service/mcpd/forceload --iF DEVICE IS vcmp Guest
- Reoot
- Then upgrade device from 11.x to 13.x and test it.

Hi Raghvendra, Yes, I will try this option. But before going to ask again client maintenance window, I need some workaround for this. Is there any other section there we can check that errored Profile Test_uat_ssl_profile? Is there any problem while going 11.6.2 HF1 to 13.1.0.8?
I read F5 upgrade guideline, as per this we can upgrade directly from 11 to 13 version expect point releases.

You can upgrade directly from 11.x to 13.x. As per your update you are not seeing any configuration for Test_uat_ssl_profile. So just reload the mcpd database and then try upgrading the device and let us know the status.
