F5 Big -IP LTM Trial Activation Problem
Hello,
I am trying to activate BIG-IP VE LTM. I have tried with a bunch of VM configurations among available downloads:
BIGIP-12.1.3.5-0.0.10.ALL.vhd BIGIP-13.1.0.6-0.0.3.LTM.vhd BIGIP-11.6.3.2.0.0.2.ALL-ide.ova BIGIP-13.1.0.7-0.0.1
However, I am constantly facing the following error during activation.
Unable to grant license key: Error 51133, F5 registration key is not compatible with the detected platform - This platform, "Z100", cannot be activated with this registration key "IFGAOXG-JBUEVYQ".
Please advice. Thanks in advance.
Regards
I finally sorted it out. For those who may end up in the same situation (let's say pitfall), I will share the source of the problem.
First of all, make sure that the license is requested using the following form with credentials. https://downloads.f5.com/trial/
Second of all, while filling the request form make sure that you selected the correct option to "Which trial would you like?" question.
In my case, it must have selected BIG-IP and BIG-IQ instead of Big-IP Cloud edition-Local Traffic Manager.
Considering the fact we evaluators may not know full F5 product portfolio. Thus I believe this is a pitfall, which may require clarification.

Not sure why not working with v12.x or v11.x. Make sure these license hasn't use anywhere.. Check with F5 support or ask to provide new license key.
