F5 APM ICA Proxy is fully compatible with XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 5.5!

Today, August 24th, 2011, Citrix publically released XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 5.5. There are many new nifty features and improvements that have been made to the product, and we will be analyzing them in depth to see how we can leverage F5 solutions to further enhance our solution to improve customer's Citrix application experience.

 

 

For now, you'd be happy to know that F5's existing Citrix ICA proxy solution works flawlessly with XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 5.5. Since the Web Interface actually didn't change(XA 6.5 ships with Web Interface 5.4), we didn't expect any changes. I've setup a brand spanking new XenApp 6.5 environment today and was able to successfully launch applications using both Web ICA client and Citrix Receiver on my iPhone.
