Does F5 support IPSec VPN tunnels failover with multiple ISPs?

Hi,

 

We have two ISPs and nearly 30 IPSec site to site VPN tunnels to remote offices (static IP as IKE identity). Now if we have F5 LTM/GTM/LC in place, is it possible to achieve VPN fail-over whenever there is an ISP outage/link down.

 

Please suggest on this.

    if the VPN device on your main location is behind the F5 (so VPN device -- f5 -- isp1 / isp2) and your VPN devices on the 30 location don't mind the tunnel being setup with a different IP (perhaps two VPN tunnel configs) then i would say this is possible.

     

    but if i was you i would try to work with a F5 partner to test this in proof of concept first.
