Correct persistence profile using load balancing IBM Sametime servers

Environment: BigIP LTM 11.6.1 (HA Pair) IBM Sametime Community Servers - port 1533

 

I've read conflicting documents (included the F5 older deployment guide for this) regarding the proper persistence profile to use. Some say Source Address Affinity Persistence and others say Destination Address Affinity Persistence with a sticky time of 60 seconds. Reaching out to see if anyone has had success implementing this and what they recommend.

    I am not familiar with the Sametime application but what are the requirements for persistence. There are other more well defined forms of persistence such as UIE based on a particular string. is the intention to keep users from the same external IP to the same backend service? If you provide the app requirements i might be able to provide you with a preferred persistence method.
