Correct persistence profile using load balancing IBM Sametime servers
Environment: BigIP LTM 11.6.1 (HA Pair) IBM Sametime Community Servers - port 1533 I've read conflicting documents (included the F5 older deployment guide for this) regarding the proper persistence profile to use. Some say Source Address Affinity Persistence and others say Destination Address Affinity Persistence with a sticky time of 60 seconds. Reaching out to see if anyone has had success implementing this and what they recommend. Thanks in advance. Mark
Sticky Persistence with SSH?
I have a VIP for SFTP set on my LTM, and it is using a persistence profile. The profile is: Persistence type - Source Affinity Address Parent profile - souce_addr Timeout - 960 seconds Map Proxies - enabled This set up when was suggested by a former team member back when I was just learning to work with the LTM. My application team is now asking me if the sticky persistence is necessary for SSH, so I'm looking for any advise / options for this configuration. Thanks, Ray
