Can Big IP 3600 do Nat Overlapping?

I need to move Public IPs behind a NAT Device....

These Public IP clones are also running on Public network

Mask Name/IP behind NAT to deploy multiple copies for testing without conflicting with live production systems

    Well...

v10 does Routing Domains. Which can have overlapping address spaces... is that sufficient for you? I'm not sure which IP's you're planning on diplicating... The VS IP's? or just the backend server IP's? (Why can't you deploy the test version to a server with a different IP? Licenses tied to an IP address?)

  • I think that will do it, now I just need to research it further for setup and configuration. This would be functional isolation, traffic would flow in and our but hostname and IP would not.

We have a complex configuration currently deployed behind a 3600 Big IP and no other Layer 3 devices to work with. The hostname and IP at times are deeply embedded in the configuration, so changing IP or hostname can cause failures

So functional Isolation or NAT is the only way......
