how to whitelist new source IP on F5 web UI access
hi, can someone pls advise how to whitelist new source IP on F5 web UI access? I know the allowed-source IP are configured on /config/httpd/conf/httpd.conf, but don't know the command to modify the allowed-ip list if don't want to directly edit the file httpd.conf. BIG-IP version 13.1.x Thanks in advance!
Herman and Jmtaylor I think you mean this article: https://my.f5.com/manage/s/article/K13309
Also some un asked for advice, please upgrade or replace this BIG-IP. TMOS 13.1.x hasn't been out of support for over a year now, you are running risks and they will get worse by keeping it active.

Herman2024 I found this information for you. Here is the direct link to the F5 support article that explains how to do this:
This article includes step-by-step instructions for modifying the allowed-source IP addresses without directly editing the httpd.conf file. It covers the use of tmsh commands to make the necessary changes.
If you follow the steps in this article, you should be able to successfully whitelist a new source IP for F5 web UI access. If you have any specific questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask!
