Big-IP LTM acting as DNS forwarder
Hi I have Big-IP LTM 2200 setup on one-leg configuration in a DMZ.
Can I configure it to act as a DNS forwarder for my servers on the inside network ?? If so, how ??
thanks François

By forwarding do you mean load balancing? If so, pretty straight forward with a set of TCP and UDP VIPs listening on port 53. If you want anything more flexible, as in the ability to answer requests that can be resolved locally and forward everything else, then you have the option of licensing DNS services in LTM for DNS iRule support (write your own forwarder), or the Global Traffic Manager (GTM) module, which can be very easily configured for true DNS forwarding.
