Backup authentication for administration

You only have the option to create one type of authentication for the administration of the F5 device. If that authentication fails, you still can use the admin/root accounts. You can also configure multiple servers for redundancy.

 

If you also have APM, there is also an option for APM based authentication. This option is new for me, I just saw now in my lab units (both in v12.0.0 or v13.0.0). As you can then link to an APM policy, you can do any logic you want with the APM, including 2 or more authentication types.
