Upgrading from 11.2.1-HF12 > 11.6.3.3

F5 documentation upgrade path requires that I go from 11.2.1-HF12 to 11.5.0 and then upgrade to 11.6.3.3. There are currently 3 volumes HD1.1, HD1.2 and HD1.3. Currently HD1.1 contains the active running of 11.2.1. The other volumes contain older versions. Is there a limit to the number of volumes? remember I need to go to an interim version 11.5.0 before reaching my target version 11.6.3.3. In addition I want to keep 11.2.1-HF12 just in case we need to rollback.

thanks for your advice in advance!

  • You can delete old version volumes.

Then when you want to upgrade, volume selection allow to set a new volume name instead of selecting an existing!

    For HD1.2, enter only 2

You can create as many volume as required, in max disk usage limit !
