Did anybody happen to know how a DNS query gets directed to the BigIP DNS Listener?
Thanks.

Hi Alex,
Here's an overview of DNS query processing on BIG-IP systems : https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K14510

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I didn't find the info I am looking for in this article. I am trying to figure out how a DNS query that a user sends ends up on a BigIP DNS.
So, we have 2 BigIP DNSes and we're using Wide IPs for looking up a query once it gets there. But what's the path for that query getting to one of the BigIP DNS?
Thanks.

Client Local DNS (LDNS) -> DNS Root -> DNS TLD (.com) -> BIG-IP DNS servers (yourdomain.com)
Then, selection between the two BIG-IP DNS depend on the loadbalancing algorithm defined at GSLB level.
