Exchange 2013 iApp OWA inbox not refreshing

What would prevent new emails from popping up in the OWA inbox? I have to click on another folder and back or refresh the screen to see new emails. I'm using LTM-only iApp 1.5.0 with 11.6.

 

I also have a separate virtual server using LTM+APM iApp 1.5.0 with 11.6. OWA is able to auto-refresh on this virtual server. I can't see any differences between the two except for APM.

It turns out that having an Analytics profile attached to the Virtual Server prevents new emails from showing up in Outlook Web App.

 

I removed it and the problem went away. I added it back and the problem returned.

 

I have no idea what the relation is. Hopefully this can help someone else.

 

Thanks for the input. This is why we recommend not using Analytics in production (on page 15 of the Exchange deployment guide). We've encountered similar unpredictable behavior in the past.

We had this issue in Exchange 2010 with LTM 11.5.2 and it was attributed to our WAN optimizer - disabled optimization to the VIP and this resolved the issue for us.
