Will LTM only license resolve DNS queries utilizing DNS express

I have setup DNS express on LTM and it is able to get the Zones from my DNS server. Created Listener on LTM without pools. But I am not able to resolve dns queries. When I add a pool of DNS servers it resolves fine.

 

Do I need GTM license for BIG-IP to resolve dns queries utilizing DNS express.

    Yes I believe you need LTM + GTM or LTM + DNS Services. In F5's new licensing module then the "Better" license model will do.
