when running LTM VE on VMWare Fusion / Mac OSX what settings should be the Network Adapter?

I have installed LTM VE on VMWare Fusion -- from the CLI for the LTM, I can ping, but I cannot ping the LTM IP address from the terminal on the Mac.

So I am guessing the network settings are right so I can access the LTM from the OSX host.
