What connection model would you recommend, bridge or one armed configuration for Dell Equallogic replication

We are have been using Dell Equallogic volume replication with VSM from east to west coast over 45Mbpw connection with VPN channels running via Sonicwall firewalls. Behind the firewall several separate segments each defined as VLAN /24. We recently bought two F5 Big-IPs with WOM to optimize the traffic, no LTM. The WAN Optimization Module (WOM) Implementation Plan includes the establishment of basic WOM communication between two sites in a point to point configuration to pass eventually traffic of Equallogic replication, DFS replication, Exchange 2010 DAG replication, HTTP database access. We would like to What connection model would you recommend, bridge or one armed configuration? Thanks.
