VMWare single namespace deployment guide "unpublished IP address"
Hi,
I am going through the deployment guide for the VMWare View iAPP (http://www.f5.com/pdf/deployment-guides/vmware-view5-iapp-dg.pdf) and I am on page 42 at the "Creating the internal Active Directory virtual server" Section.
It asks me for "an unpublished IP address (an IP address that is not a known network on this device), such as 10.0.0.1."
I am not sure what that means I am afraid - especially an IP address being a network - is it perhaps missing the word "on" - so instead of:
...... an IP address that is not a known network on this device
it should read
...... an IP address that is not on a known network on this device
So an IP that is not on a network that is directly attached, or known via a learned route.
Lastly if you are kind enough to reply - would you be able to confirm why you know an "unpublished IP" is what you say it is :)

i believe you are right, just a word missing and using a term that isnt that common. don't have any hard sources for knowing this, just makes the most sense. you can probably raise a ticket and ask f5 support to update it.
- The word on is missing and would make the comment easier to understand. The ip address used is for BIG-IP system internal communication only, so you can use any none conflicting ip address.
