Viprion b2100 replacement
Hi ,
i have 2 viprion chassis with (2400) with 2 blades installed in each of them . We have some vCMP guest defined on these 2 chassis .
Recently we had a b2100 blade that went defect . (Blade didn't respond to anything anymore --> in GUI of chassis it indicated that blade was unavailable. Connecting a console didn't work anymore , blade seemed to be completly dead)
I replaced that blade today with a new B2100 blade . The new blade seems to work , i can again access it via console & GUI. But problem is that this blade stays "offline".I've tried to enable it via GUI of chassis , but it doesn't react .
Does anybody know what needs to be done in order to get this blade on-line again ?I was always told that blades are hot-swapable , but this doesn't seem to be the case .

have you verify the running TMOS version on the new blade is the same as existing blade? or you may facing this SOL: http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/200/sol13236.html
