Using IP's in a DNS worrld of GTM's

    If I understand this correctly, the goal is to get your imaging servers which ONLY use IP addresses to redirect to a datacenter that is operable if their primary choice is down.

     

    A GTM would not help in this scenario unless your imaging systems do a DNS lookup, which it sounds like they don't.

     

    These things can be done with multicast. We do it with several services across the country. It involves network setup and other things.
