User logout issue

Hi Team,

we have hosted a web application using Jboss and oracle involved site

Within in LAN when users logs in we don't have any issues, but when we login through Internet through F5 connectivity user sessions are getting logout. Its a intermittent issue, sometimes it happens and some time not

Trying to understand the best settings to resolve the issue from F5 point of view. When internally the website working fine without any issues we doubt f5 is causing the issues, required experts suggestions

Thanks

  • No its not possible since it happens intermittent across different users geographically so its not possible in this situation.

can you reproduce the issue yourself? the tcpdump command will capture only packet from specific ip address. so, if you are able to reproduce it, it would be great.

otherwise, you may try irule logging (e.g. log client ip, uri, cookie value and server) but not sure if it can point out the root cause.

by the way, is there any special configuration under virtual server?

  • Team,

Lead in the issue, max the issue happening in only internet explorer, when I use Chrome or firefox there is no issue , so need to understand the session management in IE and how to resolve it

OK, reasonably recent then. I'd concur with Nitass and think a tcpdump would be your best next move. Cheers
