Upgraded to Big-IP 12.0.0

I downloaded 12.0.0 today since its now available and have been trying to upgrade a box I've got in my lab. I keep getting a "L4 rule feature not licensed" when it tries to boot and load the config. Funny thing is I'm running a Best license and only have LTM provisioned. Has anyone else experienced this yet or know what the L4 rule feature is?

    Brad, I've had this before (although it wasn't from a v12 upgrade, may have been 11.6) and the error was a spurious one unrelated to the license.

     

    I seem to recall it was something in the configuration that wasn't automatically upgraded so syntax wrong in the new version. I'd check TCP Profiles or perhaps irules on your virtuals. Had to rem items out of bigip.conf and reload config.

     

    Sorry nothing concrete but hope it gives u a steer.
