does reboot or bigstart restart help i.e. is the error gone after reboot or bigstart restart?

what is /dev/hdc1 ? is there another /dev/hdc...?

what is /dev/hdc1 ? is there another /dev/hdc...?it is just partition number. the number depends on how you partition hard drive. you know tmos is running on top of linux i.e. centos.
