TFTP on a SSL Portal

Hello,

I have a question, I was wondering if it is possible to deploy a TFTP link on an SSL webportal.

To be a little bit more clear: The customer is using F5 APM and there is webportal deployed where they can connect to servers by application URI, on port 80. The servers has also a TFTP server installed, the customers wants to use this function through the webportal is that possible?

Greetings,

Robin

  • Your best bet is to establish an SSL VPN via APM. Conversely you could initiate an APM application tunnel, which is essentially an SSL VPN to a defined set of resources (by IP, port/port range). Once connected you would connect your TFTP client through this tunnel.

  • Thanks Kevin. I will tried this, sounds as possible solution!

Ones done I will give an update.
